Arena Fencing

Arena Fencing aims to provide fencing classes to beginners of all ages, and to provide an environment where it is possible to go on learning and improving to the highest standards. Fencers who would like to compete will be encouraged to take part in competition at appropriate levels, in individual and team events.

Members of Arena Fencing club will receive individual lessons, take part in group footwork and fitness sessions, and ‘freeplay’ sessions using our electrical scoring equipment. Reduced rates will be offered to students, OAP’s and the unemployed.

Arena Leisure Centre

The Arena Leisure Centre has an excellent sports hall, with wooden sprung floor, 6 badminton courts and 500 pull-out seats, changing rooms with showers, sauna and steamroom. There is also an extensive weights and exercise room, and a large aerobics room with spinning bikes.

The leisure centre is just behind Kingston Cllege buildings, right by Draper’s car park entrance. The car park is open until late, and parking is free after 6.30pm.

Members of the fencing club will automatically become members of the Arena Leisure Centre. Special rates for membership of the gym are on offer.
