2009 Summer Training Camp

Programme

Places for around 35 fencers aged 16+, individual lessons offered (usually one per day, 4 during week assured).

We arrive Sunday 2nd August.  Dinner is provided in the self-service restaurant.  Food is simple, but good quality and plentiful.

Five days of training are included, starting Monday.  The days will be divided into 4 sessions, each session will have a different theme.

The training is always pretty intense, and we have found it very important to have some time off; we will build in some afternoon breaks and run some evening sessions.

We train from 8.30 in the morning with a long midday break —  it can get pretty hot, but like Tata, the training halls are air conditioned.  Don’t be fooled into thinking it doesn’t get hot in southern Germany at this time of year!  There will be plenty of time for walking by the river and for a dip in the sauna and swimming pool afterwards.

On Friday evening (last night), we will arrange a trip to a local restaurant.

We leave Saturday 8th August.
